Larry C. Anthony, J.D.

Larry is a two-time veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces having served in the U.S. Navy and Texas Army National Guard during which he was deployed during the Iraqi Freedom Campaign from 2007 to 2008.

Larry holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history with a minor in Arabic from Southern Methodist University. Larry has studied overseas in the Middle East as part of his undergraduate studies. Larry earned his Juris Doctor from UNT Dallas College of Law. Larry has worked in the legal field in various capacities for over 10 years as a third party neutral, student attorney, law clerk, and paralegal.

Larry has successfully mediated over 100 cases. He converted to Islam 8 months after September 11, 2001, and has concentrated much of his efforts towards convert care. Larry has studied with shuyukh locally and abroad where he has received his ijazaat in Maliki Fiqh, Hadith, Aqeedah, and Tasawuff.

Larry is a member of the Texas Association of Mediators, mediator for the Texas Department of Insurance, public arbitrator for FINRA, member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediator, and member of the National Association of Certified Mediators.
